Description and Symbolism
A man and a woman, each of them holding a cup, stand facing each other. They appear to be in a sort of ceremony. The man is gently touching the hand of the woman. Both of them wear a wreath on their head, which symbolizes a success. Above them we see the Rod of Hermes which stands for harmony, balance and duality. The winged lion above them symbolizes passion. It seems the couple has been brought together by higher powers.
