Description and Symbolism

A few boats can be seen on the water. From the mans position he has a good view over what is happening.

General Meaning
The number 3 indicates growth and development. While in the Two of Wands card the man was still at a decision stage, in the Three of Wands card plans have already been made. This card can appear in situations when we have just started with a new project and when we have concrete plans and a vision of what we want to achieve. At this stage you probably already took action. This card also symbolizes the expansion of ones horizon, so it can be a sign that you learn new things and do things you haven't done before.
Love Meaning

The Three of Wands can represent that you are determined to work for your relationship. Maybe you have concrete plans to make your relationship better or you are just in the mood to actively spend time together, work on something together or to turn your plans into reality.
If your relationship is still fresh, it could mean that you are still getting to know your partner, and that you try to get a better picture of them. The will to get to know each other is there. If you are asking if someone is going to contact you, this card shows that the intention is there. When there was a breakup, it could mean that you are moving on, focusing on what is to come, instead of looking back.
As Feelings

If you ask how someone feels for you, the Three of Wands can indicate that the person in question is interested in you. They probably want to get to know you better and they want to take the initiative when it comes to dating. If they did not ask you out yet, they probably will do it soon. In an existing relationship it could mean that your partner wants to do some fun stuff together. Maybe it is time to get out of the daily routine, and make your love life more exciting again.
